The General Manager of TotalEnergies EP in Bulgaria and Greece participated in the Business Forum within the Three Seas Initiative (3SI) Summit

As part of its chairmanship of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI), Bulgaria hosted the Summit of the Presidents of the 3SI countries and organized the Three Seas Business Forum on July 8 and 9, 2021 in Sofia. The Business Forum included meetings between the Chambers of Commerce, innovation agencies, and investment agencies of 3SI participating states, as well as parallel businesses’ meetings. The discussions were in four panels: on energy, innovation, transport and digitalization.

Yves Le Stunff, General Manager of TotalEnergies EP for Bulgaria and Greece, was invited to the Energy Panel where he presented the recent transformation of Total into TotalEnergies and where he focused on the new  objective of the Company to become a world leader in renewables energy on top of its historical Oil & Gas activities.

In 2020 TotalEnergies has set up an ambition of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and has adjusted its strategy in line with this ambition. One axis is to become a world leader in renewables energy with an objective of having a portfolio of 35 GW capacity in 2025 and of 100 GW capacity in 2030 (with already 8 GW in production in 2021 through almost 700 installations worldwide).
