CSR and Sustainability

In 2021, Total became TotalEnergies. This new name illustrates the Company's new ambition of becoming a world-class player in the energy transition and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 together with society.

TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria has a dedicated CSR program in Bulgaria in line with the ambition of our Company to be a responsible multi-energy company and with the TotalEnergies Foundation Community Engagement Program. We are committed to working together with our local stakeholders and creating long-term value for them by helping them address their societal and environmental challenges and thus contributing to the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030. 

TotalEnergies Foundation encompasses the community initiatives conducted every day worldwide by the Company'saffiliates and corporate foundation. The program focuses on four priority areas aligned with TotalEnergies' history, businesses and values:

  • Inclusion and Education
  • Road Safety
  • Climate, Coastal Areas and Oceans
  • Cultural Dialogue and Heritage.

In Bulgaria we are concentrating our efforts on collaborating with local Academia for training of Bulgarian specialists in the field of our business to help young people enter the workforce, on initiatives related to the Black Sea where our operations are conducted, and projects for road safety and energy and environment awareness in schools.

All this is underpinned by good governance, transparency, business ethics and respect for human rights.
