TotalEnergies Bulgaria received a prize for active participation in the campaign "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together"
On June 9, at the National Meeting of the partners of the "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together" campaign, organized by bTV Media Group, the teams of TotalEnergies in Bulgaria received an honorary plaque for their care for Vitosha Nature Park and for cleaning of other sites in the country.
The "Green Week" (a new ESG initiative of bTV to limit negative climate impacts on the environment) started on the World Environment Day and ended with this event. Among the prize winners for 2022 are several socially responsible business and volunteer organizations.
Well-known bTV presenters together with the Minister of Environment and Water, Mr. Yulian Popov, the Mayor of Sofia, Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, representatives of regional and municipal administrations, non-governmental organizations and businesses launched the campaign for the big clean-up this year, which will happen on September 16.
TotalEnergies Marketing Bulgaria and TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria actively support the cleaning and maintenance of Vitosha Park, send materials to the volunteers in various areas along the Black Sea coast, while our employees personally participate in this largest volunteer action in Bulgaria, since 2019.
For the fourth time, we will be a partner of the campaign "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together", which in 2023 will be under the motto "We are ready!", which appeals to our personal responsibility and contribution in caring for the cleanliness of the planet, the future, and the education of children.
Our company strongly supports and encourages its employees around the world to get involved in citizenship initiatives. By participating in TotalEnergies’ employee volunteering program Action!, all employees can dedicate up to three days per year of their work time to volunteer for initiatives near their workplace.
