"Climate Change and Energy Transition" course in Sofia University with the support of TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria

Every year TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria provides learning opportunities for Bulgarian students. This is an initiative within the framework cooperation agreements with its partners from Bulgarian Universities.

In April this year, Jean-Pierre Cordier, Vice-president of the Association of professors and experts from TotalEnergies Professeurs Associés (TPA) was in Sofia and gave the reference course "Climate Change and Energy Transition" to students from Sofia University and young professionals.

At the official opening of the course, Miroslav Ilijevski, Country chair of TotalEnergies in Bulgaria, thanked the participants for their keen interest in climate change and energy transition processes. Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, expressed his satisfaction that students from Sofia university have the chance to follow a course, which prepares them for the future.

The participants learned about the new trends in the energy industry and discussed the challenges that the sector deals with on the transition pathway.

Professor Cordier, a person with rich experience in one of the biggest multi-energy companies, used real cases in the lectures and asked the audience to apply their knowledge and suggest solutions.
