TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria supported and participated in the fifth Summer School "Energy Management"

The fifth Summer School "Energy Management", organized by the Faculty of Economics of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" and "Utilities" Magazine was held in August 2022. 35 students, PhD students and young specialists from energy companies participated in the School. Associate Professor Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty and Konstantin Konstantinov, Executive Director of “Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange" EAD opened the event.

The aim of this school is to provide quality postgraduate training, opportunity to exchange experiences and build connections between participants, speakers, sponsors and organizers.

The lectures covered topics such as: electricity exchange trading, challenges in the management of projects for new nuclear capacities, the European energy policy, licensing processes in the energy sector, good practices in the construction of RES-projects, etc.

A lecture on "Energy transition in action" was delivered by the General Manager of TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria Yves Le Stunff who explained the commitment of TotalEnergies to Net Zero emissions by 2050 and its ambition to be one of the world leaders in the energy transition and therefore swiftly transforming into a multi energy company committed to providing energy that is ever more affordable, clean, reliable and accessible to as many people as possible.

Thanks to the sponsoring companies, among which TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria, all students had the opportunity to participate in the school for free.
